Cedar are supporting a Procurement Consultancy who are looking to hire a Procurement Consultant to support their clients in the UK Public Sector. This role is a permanent opportunity which offers a salary of Β£40,000 up to Β£60,000 per annum plus various perks (such as a bonus). The role will operate on a hybrid basis, predominantly home office based with potential for 1-2 days a week on-site at offices in Northamptonshire (plus occasional client meetings).
The focus of this role will be to support key clients the Procurement Consultancy engage in the UK Public Sector marketplace - typically on areas in the ICT, Construction, Estates and/or Facilities Management categories. You will be required to support end to end Procurements, ensuring compliance with Public Sector Procurement Regulations and with a focus on continually achieving Value for Money (VfM). This role will require you to be hands on with delivering various procurement projects and managing key stakeholder relationships.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
- Strong experience/understanding of Public Sector Procurement with hands on experience working in this space in a Procurement, Commercial or Category Management role
- Experience running procurement projects in the ICT, Construction, Estates and/or Facilities Management categories
- Experience working in Procurement Consultancy or Framework Management would be advantageous
- Ability to adapt and deliver various projects compliantly
- Strong stakeholder management, team management and organisational skills
