Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and management of Fleet Service Delivery, Planning, Production and Train Presentation teams across UK Depots.
- Optimisation of fleet maintenance locations, including utilisation, safety and infrastructure requirements.
- Accountable for depot audit actions, ensuring corrective actions are robust.
- Leadership of the Fleet Service Delivery, Planning, Production and Train Presentation teams to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and cost efficiency.
- Ensure that materials, facilities and technical support are available to support the required fleet maintenance delivery through acting as an internal client to the Logistics Manager, Plant & Buildings Manager and Fleet Technical Manager.
- Act as a secondary supervisor for these functions through dotted line management responsibility.
- Anticipate, and manage infrastructure risks and issues, initiating appropriate corrective action and supporting the asset management plan.
