Cedar is exclusively supporting a Public Sector client in the North East who are looking to hire a Commercial Policy & Delivery Manager. This role is a permanent job opportunity and offers a salary ranging from £45,000 up to £51,000 per annum with a range of great benefits which also include a Local Government Pension. The role will operate on a hybrid basis - the usual expectation to be on-site is 3 days per week; however, this will be flexible to support workload and delivery.
Working as part of a growing Procurement and Contract Management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and managing contracting specifications and terms, commercial income standards, policies, licences, agreements, business case evaluations, and funding agreements.
- Developing contract T&Cs and KPIs for a range of procurement activities, ensuring T&Cs are fit for purpose, manageable, and monitorable throughout the contract life.
- Ensuring consistency in approach and that agreements are aligned to organisational goals.
- Helping ensure documents, templates, and decision-making frameworks are in place to support commercial activity.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
- c3+ years experience working in a role covering Procurement, Commercial, Contract Management or Project Management experience developing and tailoring Terms & Conditions for an organisation.
- Experience developing procedures, processes, guidance documents, and policy documentation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills along with high attention to detail.
- Legal experience in Contracting, Procurement and/or Property would be advantageous.
