IntroCedar is currently partnered with a global, PE-backed business to secure an Interim Group FP&A Lead based in Central London. The role is a 6-month initial contract, paying a day rate of between £800 to £900 per day.

The business is undergoing a wide-ranging transformation programme and is seeking a strong FP&A leader to drive analytical performance, strengthen financial visibility, and enhance decision support at a group level from their London office.
The Role
- FP&A Transformation Leadership
Lead the design and implementation of a best-in-class FP&A framework, establishing group-wide financial planning and analysis processes. Standardise and automate financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting to drive data-driven decision-making across the group. Develop scalable financial models for improved cash flow forecasting and scenario analysis, aligning with strategic objectives. Implement KPIs to measure business and financial performance, ensuring metrics are actionable and embedded across the group. - Strategic Financial Transformation
Integrate FP&A goals with broader business strategies. Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth by redesigning financial and operational processes. Provide senior leadership with actionable insights on cost drivers, risks, and value creation opportunities. - Business Transformation and Change Management
Monitor transformation costs and benefits, aligning outcomes with investor and shareholder expectations. Collaborate with operational leaders to implement financial best practices and ensure seamless execution of business transformation initiatives. Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement for sustainable financial and operational excellence.
Your Profile
You will ideally have:
- A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA / CIMA / CA).
- Previous experience having led a large, complex and evolving business through change and transformation.
- Prior experience in an interim / contract role would be beneficial but not necessary.
