This entrepreneurial, high growth services provider has experienced phenomenal year-on-year success. Having grown rapidly through a combination of organic growth and M&A activity, this dynamic organisation continues to look for further acquisition targets to complement its existing brands.
To help facilitate the exciting growth plans, the business has created the new role of Group Finance Manager. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role includes:
- Month end close, creating high quality management reporting with insightful analysis and commentary
- Improving the financial processes and reporting environment, supporting the ongoing evolvement of a robust structure that allows for rapid business scale up
- Involvement in managing external relationships including auditors
- Cash flow management, further developing the cash flow forecasts, and managing the treasury process
- Ensuring accounting policies are in line with current legislation, continuously monitoring of regulatory changes
- Ensuring key internal controls are appropriately adhered to
- Preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance, managing VAT
- Accounting support on business-critical projects, i.e. M&A
The successful candidate will have demonstrable accounting experience, having played a key role in the ongoing growth of a scaling business. You will have strong technical accounting and excel skills, and a hands-on approach to delivery.
Ideally, you will be an ACA qualified accountant who has worked within a PE backed environment. Whilst those are not essential requirements, clear non-negotiables are an appetite to get stuck in, intellectual horsepower, creative problem solving and an impressive level of communication skills.
