Our client, a global professional services organisation, is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Global Process Owner (GPO) to lead the strategic evolution of its global Record to Report (R2R) finance processes.
As Global Process Owner, you will own the end-to-end design, governance and continuous improvement of the global R2R landscape. You will partner closely with fellow Global Process Owners across Source-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Hire-to-Retire, Tax, FP&A and External Reporting to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration across the enterprise.
This is both a strategic and operational leadership role, requiring strong transformation capability, stakeholder influence and deep expertise across finance process architecture, governance and automation.
Key Responsibilities- Own and optimise the global R2R and P2P process landscape across the business
- Drive process standardisation, governance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor key KPIs including close performance, DPO and process effectiveness
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, IT and Compliance teams to support operational excellence and transformation initiatives
- Lead finance process change, automation and systems enhancement activity, including D365, Tipalti and close/reconciliation tools
- Ensure strong controls, risk management and best-practice adoption globally
- Proven experience leading global R2R processes within complex international organisations
- Strong understanding of finance operations, controls, governance and transformation
- Demonstrated success delivering process improvement and standardisation programmes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
- Experience working with ERP and finance automation platforms such as Certinia, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Tipalti, BlackLine or similar technologies would be advantageous.
- Degree qualified, with ACCA, CIMA or similar qualification preferred
- Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certification advantageous
