Cedar is partnered with a PE-backed SaaS business to appoint an Interim Group FP&A Manager. This is a 6-month contract offering £450-600 per day, based in the City of London with hybrid working (3 days per week in the office).
The role sits within the group finance function and focuses on FP&A, commercial finance and advanced modelling across a high-growth, ARR-driven business, with close interaction across Sales, Product and senior leadership.
The organisation is a PE-backed SaaS platform operating within a data-rich, workflow-driven environment, supporting enterprise clients with mission-critical decision-making tools. The business has established strong product-market fit and is now entering a phase of accelerated growth, with a focus on scaling ARR, enhancing commercial visibility and driving more sophisticated financial planning across the organisation. Finance plays a central role in partnering with the business to support this next phase of growth.
The Interim Group FP&A Manager will support the delivery of planning, forecasting and commercial insight across the business, ensuring financial outputs are robust, forward-looking and aligned to strategic priorities. The role combines core FP&A responsibilities with commercial finance and modelling, and will suit someone comfortable operating in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with evolving processes and high stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery of the annual budgeting and planning process, aligning financial outputs with commercial strategy and operational priorities.
- Building and maintaining ARR and revenue models, providing visibility on growth drivers, risks and sensitivities.
- Developing bottom-up forecasting models across revenue, headcount and cost lines to support accurate reforecasting.
- Producing monthly rolling forecasts, including analysis of ARR, bookings, pipeline and key SaaS metrics.
- Partnering with Sales leadership to develop quota coverage and sales capacity models, informing hiring and investment decisions.
- Delivering commercial insight across metrics such as ARR, churn, CAC and LTV.
- Supporting long-range planning and scenario modelling to assess strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- Producing analysis and insight for senior stakeholders, translating financial data into clear commercial recommendations.
- Contributing to improvements in FP&A processes, modelling capability and data quality where appropriate.
Your Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Strong FP&A and commercial finance experience within a high-growth environment, ideally PE-backed.
- Advanced financial modelling capability, particularly in revenue and scenario modelling.
- Experience working within SaaS or ARR-based business models.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to partner across commercial functions.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes.
Compensation & Working Arrangements:
The day rate for this Interim Group FP&A Manager role is £450-600 per day. The role is based in the City of London with hybrid working (typically 3 days per week in the office). This is a 6-month assignment offering exposure to a commercially focused FP&A environment within a high-growth, investor-backed business.
