Cedar is supporting a fast scaling global business with revenues approaching £2bn and huge growth ambitions. Backed by major investment and an active M&A pipeline, this is your chance to make an impact in a newly created role at the centre of the Group's expansion.
As Group Financial Accountant, you'll sit within the External Reporting team, supporting consolidations, M&A integration, and both IFRS and US GAAP reporting. Working closely with an outstanding Group Head of Finance, you'll gain exposure across transactions, controls, and high-level reporting, with plenty of variety and visibility.
What you'll do:
- Assist with M&A accounting, onboarding new acquisitions, and IFRS 15 revenue reviews
- Prepare accounting papers for key transactions and strengthen reporting processes
- Assist in Group consolidation and external reporting, supporting both IFRS and US GAAP requirements
- Support the production of monthly management accounts and Group Annual and Quarterly reports
- Prepare accounting papers for key transactions, including M&A, financing, structuring, and hedging
- Support IFRS 15 reporting across local entities, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and smooth onboarding of new acquisitions
- Drive post-acquisition reviews, analysing goodwill, capitalisation, and integration impacts
- Partner with M&A, Treasury, Tax, and Divisional Finance teams to deliver ad hoc financial insights
