Cedar is partnering with a global manufacturing business based in Hull looking to hire a commercially focused Finance Manager. The role will lead on financial planning, where you will take full ownership of the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting, as well as ensuring the provision of accurate and timely financial reports to Group. Our client is seeking a qualified Accountant, ideally with a background in manufacturing looking to take the next step in their career and develop their commercial awareness. Other role responsibilities will include. Take full ownership for management reporting on the performance of the site Provide insight into the performance of the individual areas highlighting opportunities to drive improved operational performance Provide financial analysis to support all key decisions, including but not limited to capital investments, costings, pricing recommendation and working capital requirements Manage and monitor working capital across the business to ensure financially optimised stock levels to meet customer demand Drive the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, working with department heads to ensure realistic but challenging targets are set to maximise profits and return on capital employed.
