Key Responsibilities
- Build positive and professional relationships with residents, identifying support needs and agreed goals.
- Provide practical and emotional support to residents to promote independence and well-being.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including budgeting, attending appointments, accessing services, and managing their tenancy responsibilities.
- Encourage engagement with healthcare providers, community resources, and other relevant support services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and support documentation.
- Work in accordance with safeguarding policies and procedures, raising concerns appropriately when required.
- Respond professionally to resident concerns and liaise with the Housing Officer or Manager where necessary.
- Work collaboratively with external professionals and partner agencies to support positive outcomes for residents.
- Carry out property inspections and report maintenance, repair, and health and safety issues.
- Promote a safe, clean, and respectful living environment within communal and private areas.
- Complete required health and safety checks in accordance with company policies and procedures.
