The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit a Deputy Manager for a 12-month position at Croft Residential/Respite & Day Care Service, located at 71 Bloomfield Road, Bangor BT20 4UR.

Salary: £33,575 per annum, pro rata

Hours: 25 hours per week

The Role: The Deputy Manager will support the Registered Manager & Respite Manager to develop and implement personalised care/support plans and individual risk assessments to meet individual needs. You will ensure the delivery of quality care and support, managing budgets and resources effectively.

Essential Criteria:

  • A professional social work qualification and registered on the appropriate part of the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) register, without condition. OR A first level registered nurse on the appropriate part of the Nursing and Midwifery Council register. OR An allied health professional registered with the Health Professions Council. AND A minimum of three years' work experience in any health or social care setting with people who have significant needs. At least one year of this experience must be in a relevant management capacity in a health and social care setting. OR A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services(NI) (Adults Residential Management) and be eligible for registration on appointment. AND A minimum of four years' practice experience in any health and social care setting as above.
  • Experience of managing a regulated service for individuals with learning disabilities, significant associated needs, and behaviours that challenge.
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of working with people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
  • High level of competency in IT to include Microsoft Office packages.
