The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit the following position: Ref 26-091-DPM-CS-WEB

Location: Head Office, 1 Ravenhill Reach, Belfast, BT6 8RB

Agile Working Option / Working from Home

Salary: Starting on £33,575 per annum (pro rata)

Hours: 37 Hours per Week Monday - Thursday (9-5pm) Friday (9-4.30pm)

The successful candidate will benefit from flexitime.

The Role of Deputy Payroll Manager is to assist the Payroll Manager in the processing of a busy Payroll Department. This role will assist in overseeing payroll procedures, accurate payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, and acting as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries. Providing leadership to payroll staff in the absence of the Payroll Manager.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualification and Experience: 3rd level qualification: RQF level 6 - Degree or equivalent or Part-Qualified Accounting Technician (IATI) or Part qualified accountant with recognised accounting body e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA AND Minimum 3 years specialist payroll experience managing large scale payroll for over 250+ employees. OR RQF level 5 qualification AND Minimum of 5 years specialist payroll experience managing large scale payroll for over 250+ employees.
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations around payroll & pensions including auto enrolment, sickness, maternity & other family leave.
  • Experience of statutory payroll returns including RTI, FPS etc.
  • Knowledge of pension regulatory requirements.
