At Cedar Court Hotels, we're looking for an experienced Group Sous Chef to support our kitchen teams across our four hotels.
You'll be based at our Harrogate Hotel but with regular travel to the properties within the Group.
You'll need your own transport,
Working closely with our Group Executive Head Chef and Hotel Head Chefs, you'll play a key role in ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, food safety standards and team development across the group.

What you'll be doing
As Group Sous Chef, you will
- Support kitchen operations across Cedar Court Hotel Group properties.
- Assist Head Chefs with the delivery of high-quality restaurant, banqueting and event food offerings.
- Provide operational support during busy periods, recruitment challenges, holiday cover and special events.
- Coach, mentor and develop kitchen teams to drive engagement and performance.
- Help maintain consistency of menus, presentation and food quality standards across the group.
- Support stock control, ordering processes and GP management.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, allergen management, COSHH and health & safety requirements.
- Contribute to menu development and new food concepts.
What we're looking for
We're seeking someone who
- Has experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a busy hotel, banqueting or hospitality environment.
- Is confident leading and motivating kitchen teams.
- Has strong knowledge of food safety, allergen legislation and kitchen compliance.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to different teams and operations.
- Is organised, hands-on and commercially aware.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and is happy to travel between our hotels.
