Cedar is working with a successful and growing retail business looking to appoint a commercially minded Management Accountant to join their Finance team.
This is a great opportunity for a Management Accountant who enjoys working closely with the wider business and wants genuine exposure to a multi-site retail environment.
The Role
You'll play a key role in the production of accurate and insightful financial information, working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders across multiple sites.
You'll be responsible for:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and delivering clear financial commentary
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Analysing sales, margins, costs and profitability across multiple sites
- Providing commercial insight to operational and senior stakeholders
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring financial accuracy
- Supporting month-end processes and continuous improvement
- Identifying trends and opportunities to improve business performance
- Working closely with site and operational teams to understand financial performance
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven multi-site experience is essential
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills and the ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders
- A commercially minded approach and a genuine interest in the wider business
