An interim role for a VAT Accountant as arisen to join the tax tea of a well-known and respected consumer brand.
They are looking for someone to start ASAP and there is the potential for a temp to perm.
The role looks after indirect tax (mostly VAT) where you'll have ownership across compliance, advisory work and risk management.
Key responsibilities include
- Prepare and submit UK VAT returns and support with international indirect tax reporting and compliance obligations
- Support compliance with Making Tax Digital requirements
- Support the review of new business initiatives, contracts and projects to identify VAT implications.
- Assist with responses to HMRC enquiries, VAT audits and compliance reviews
