Group Finance Manager, PE backed Business, Crewe, c£70k + bonus An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and hands-on Group Accountant to join a fast-paced, multi-entity business during a period of continued growth.
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function while gaining exposure to process improvement, business partnering and people management.
This role would suit a technically strong accountant looking for a long-term opportunity with a progression path into a Financial Controller position over the next 3-4 years.
Key Responsibilities Manage a large team of c15 Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts across multiple legal entities.
Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and month-end close.
Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
Ensure robust financial controls and accounting processes are maintained across the business.
Work closely with operational stakeholders to provide financial insight and support decision-making.
Assist with statutory reporting, audit preparation and year-end activities.
