Cedar is supporting a PE Backed global business looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, people-focused organisation that offers genuine career progression within a complex international environment.
The role will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts and reporting to strict deadlines
- Preparing journals, including intercompany and recurring charges
- Delivering monthly revenue reporting and technical ledger reconciliations
- Owning balance sheet reconciliations and resolving any identified issues
- Supporting VAT and tax reporting for UK and overseas entities
- Improving reporting solutions, processes and procedures
- Producing ad hoc management information and financial analysis
- Supporting wider business planning and reporting activities
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a Management Accountant
- A professional accounting qualification, finalist status or strong qualification-by-experience
- Knowledge of UK accounting standards
- Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables and data manipulation
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet demanding deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Financial services or insurance experience would be advantageous but is not essential
