Job Requirements
- Hours of work: Full-time and part-time available
- Full-time: 38.5 hours per week including weekends (42 scheduled hours per week minus breaks)
Job Role
- Prepare and serve all food to ensure a balanced, nutritious diet for all Residents as well as maintaining high standards of hygiene in the kitchen
- Work according to guidance from the Home Manager and as a team with the Registered Nurses to meet the needs and preferences of the Residents
- Manage the performance of Kitchen staff
Experience
- We are looking for experience in some or all of the following areas:
- Qualifications: Health and safety certificate, Food hygiene certificate, NVQ level 2 or 3 in Food Preparation and Cooking
- Work Experience: Previous experience of working in a kitchen essential, Working to deadlines
