Ceaton Security Services is looking for an organised and commercially minded Remedials & Maintenance Estimator to join our Sales team.

In this fast-paced role, you'll turn engineer reports, remedial recommendations and customer requirements into clear, accurate quotations across our four divisions: Fire, Security, Passive Fire and Automation.

You'll work closely with engineers, operational teams and the Sales Manager to ensure customers receive timely, professional quotes that support ongoing service and maintenance delivery.

What you will be doing

Producing day-to-day remedial and maintenance quotations across all four divisions.

Reviewing engineer reports and service recommendations to identify required works.

Turning technical information into clear, accurate customer quotations.

Obtaining supplier/subcontractor pricing and calculating labour, materials and costs.

Prioritising and managing a high volume of quotation requests.

Collaborating with engineers, operational teams and the Sales Manager.

Maintaining accurate quotation and CRM records.

A typical week might include: Reviewing service reports, preparing multiple quotations, chasing internal information, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring customers receive quotes quickly after maintenance visits.

Who we are looking for

Were looking for someone organised, commercially aware and confident working with pricing and technical information. You'll have:

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.
  • Good attention to detail and commercial awareness.
  • Confidence working with costs, pricing and margins.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and produce a high volume of quotations.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office and CRM/business systems.
  • Experience in Fire, Security, Passive Fire, Automation, FM, Construction or Building Services (advantageous but not essential).
  • Ability to interpret technical reports and translate them into customer quotations.

Security Vetting

Due to the nature of our work, the successful candidate will be required to complete full background/security vetting, including criminal-record checks.

Employment is subject to satisfactory clearance.
