Your next role
As an Administrative Assistant in our growing Fire Door Division, you'll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly. This is a hands‑on, varied role where your organisation, accuracy, and communication skills will make a real impact. You'll work closely with managers, engineers, and clients, gaining exposure to scheduling, project coordination, and operational administration within a specialist fire safety environment. It's an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive, well‑established Welsh business.
What you will be doing
- Managing day‑to‑day administrative tasks to support the Fire Door Division
- Maintaining accurate records, data entry, and updating internal systems
- Coordinating PPM quotes, job updates, and scheduling activities
- Handling calls and emails, ensuring enquiries are directed efficiently
- Supporting the preparation and submission of quotations, liaising with engineers, suppliers, and clients to keep workflows moving
- Keeping documentation organised and accessible
- Contributing to smooth office operations and team support
A typical week might look like
- Logging new jobs and updating progress across internal systems
- Preparing quotes and tracking approvals
- Coordinating engineer schedules and communicating updates
- Responding to client queries and directing calls
- Organising documentation, certificates, and project files
- Supporting the Manager and Deputy Manager with ongoing admin tasks
Who we are looking for

Essential
- Experience in an administrative or office‑based role
- Strong organisation and attention to detail

- Professional, dependable approach
Desirable
- Experience in fire safety, construction, or engineering environments
- Familiarity with job management or CRM systems
