Ceannaire Medical is an Irish privately held medical device distributor operating across Ireland and the UK that specialises in the distribution of unique devices. We take pride in supporting healthcare providers to provide cost-effective solutions to achieve economic outcomes. Ceannaire Medical operates within the areas of Obstetrics, Stoma and Wound care. We are delighted to now have the need to add a Key Account Sales (Obstetrics) Manager to our growing organisation. This role will be part-time and is based in the Midlands, covering key accounts across England & Wales. The focus of this role will be to develop our Obstetrics business in England & Wales. Experience within OBGYN is preferred.
Qualifications:
- A proven background in medical device sales.
- Ability to manage sales region in an effective manner to achieve targets.
- Ability to communicate effectively with and to understand the needs of others in a sales relationship.
- Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
- Willingness to travel extensively across England & Wales to achieve goals, as required.
- Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
- Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to work hands-on and with a sense of urgency, in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Driving License.
- Aptitude to take on and communicate clearly complex scientific and medical information.
Responsibilities:
- To identify new sales opportunities and develop existing accounts.
- Effectively manage key customer relationships and perform the role of Account Manager in all key customer segments.
- Conduct training within maternity departments on our range of products.
- To develop, define and execute a comprehensive business plan related to our market within the strategic focus areas.
- To identify and develop relationships with key opinion leaders / decision-makers within our markets to launch new product ranges.
- Work with Senior Management Team to achieve company targets and strategy at a local and regional level.
- Manage contract and tender-based sales opportunities across regions.
- To deliver the key performance indicators and sales targets for the programmes you have been assigned.
- Any other activities required to assist in the smooth successful functioning of the team.
