Your Role: As the Senior Academic Coordinator, you will handle general academic advising, coordinate class schedules, syllabi, and classroom logistics, and support student arrivals and orientation. This position involves close collaboration with faculty, the Program and Student Services team, and Career & Internship colleagues.
What You’ll Do:
- Registration: Review student course selections and coordinate with partner institutions on registrations and placements. Share student registration information with language institutions and other partners. Manage language placement processes (where applicable) and communicate results to students. Assist the Director of Academic Affairs in communicating with home universities and CEA CAPA headquarters regarding student registration and status changes.
- Coordination of Faculty: Collaborate with faculty to establish course schedules, equipment needs, course outings, and educational support for in-house courses. Request progress reports from faculty or partner institutions as needed. Coordinate updates to and collection of semester syllabi. Distribute and collect Course Evaluation forms from students.
- Student Advising: Be available during working hours to assist students in person, via email, or by telephone with academic questions and concerns. Support the creation, organization, and presentation of Student Academic Orientation. Contribute to the development of the Academics section of the Student Program Guide. Monitor student attendance and progress with host institutions and inform the Center Director of any potential issues.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure high-quality academic delivery. Conduct regular performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback and encouraging professional growth. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Fluency in English
- Experience working with students, particularly international students

- Experience living or working abroad, with a knowledge of the local culture, history, business practices, and academic environment
- Knowledge of the U.S. higher education system
- Authorization to work in the UK
