We are currently looking for an experienced Sales & Events Coordinator to join the team and support with the booking and organisation of conferences, weddings and events in a beautiful 4* hotel in Woking.

The Place
Our client is a conference, meeting and wedding venue within an elegant Edwardian mansion house, surrounded by beautiful gardens and countryside on the outskirts of Woking.
The Person
- Experience as a sales and events coordinator or executive in a similar style property, ideally with solid wedding experience for at least 2 years
- Experience in responding to and sending proposals to conference & event enquiries received via our website, email or telephone, whilst upselling on every occasion to maximise revenue
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
- Assisting with planning and hosting of Open Evenings & other similar promotional events
- Knowledge of OPERA preferred
- Passion for sales and events and have confidence in your ability to convert enquiries
- Impeccable standards of service with a passion for creating memorable weddings and events
- A warm and friendly personality, with a flair for recognising and exceeding guest expectations
- Organised, well presented and with an eye for detail
- Live local to Woking with own transport and be able to work evenings and weekends on occasion
