We are currently looking to recruit a skilled Sous Chef (Savoury) for a busy pie, brunch, and café production kitchen in Wimbledon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who has a passion for hearty, comforting food and enjoys working in a structured, daytime-led production environment.
You will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the preparation of a range of high-quality savoury items including pies, sausage rolls, stews, brunch components, and bakery pairings, all produced with a strong focus on consistency, flavour, and quality. You will be working in a calm but fast-paced production kitchen, supporting both savoury bakery and café-style operations.
The Perks
- Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)

- 5 days per week on a rolling rota

The Person
The successful Sous Chef (Savoury) will have the following:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef, CDP, or prep chef in a savoury-focused kitchen
- Strong skills in pastry, fillings, stews, batch cooking, and brunch-style preparation
- Experience working with bakery or café-style food (pies, sausage rolls, brunch dishes preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards in a production environment
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation
- Reliable, positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Passion for classic British comfort food and baked savoury products
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Full right to work in the UK
