Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join a high-quality hospitality venue in Woking. The business has been actively seeking the right candidate for some time and, with the busy season approaching, there is an urgent need to appoint the role as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional to join a fast-paced venue and play a key role in delivering seamless food and beverage service across multiple outlets.

The venue is an elegant Edwardian mansion set in the Surrey countryside, surrounded by woodland and formal gardens, yet only minutes from the centre of Woking. Following significant refurbishment, it now operates as a major conference, meetings, celebrations, and wedding venue, featuring a 10,000 sq ft ballroom, 67 bedrooms, serviced offices, and an onsite gym. It is one of the leading hospitality venues in the region.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a Food & Beverage environment (hotel or high-end venue preferred)
  • Strong food and drink knowledge
  • Confidence in supervising and supporting a team
  • Experience delivering service across multiple areas including restaurant, bar, room service, lounge, afternoon tea, and events
  • Experience supporting weddings, conferences, and special events
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A flexible, hands-on approach with the ability to adapt across departments
  • A positive, "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest experiences
  • Must be local to Woking or ideally able to drive due to the rural location
