We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Sous Chef to learn, grow and lead the brigade at a busy and well established site within an exciting gastro pub group. With fresh, seasonal menus and a great reputation, this independent pub company focuses on nose to tail dining with a front and back of house team who are passionate for fresh food dining and outstanding service to a Rosette level.

The Place
Our client is an award winning gastro pub group with multiple sites around Surrey and Berkshire. This site is based in Finchampstead. They are a warm, relaxed pub with beautiful seasonal menus; with popular Sundays Roast, hand curated wine lists and cocktails to be enjoyed inside or on their terrace.
The Person
The successful Sous Chef will have the following:
- Experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment, ideally at AA rosette level
- Classically trained
- Keen interest in whole fish filleting, meat butchery, fresh soups and stocks
- The ability to learn and retain knowledge and skills to run your own section
- Strong leader
- Personable and team player
- High attention to detail and organised
- Passionate about fresh food and menu design/seasonal specials
- A true interest to work in a fresh food kitchen to a premium level
- Be local or have own transport is a must as the pub
