Operations Manager - Hotel - Woking

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and commercially driven Operations Manager to join a busy hotel in Woking.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to lead operational excellence across the hotel, working closely with the General Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive business performance.

The successful Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel, ensuring brand standards are consistently achieved while leading, developing and inspiring departmental teams.

This is a hands-on role that will include managing hotel operations, running events and supporting the business during busy trading periods.

  • The Person
  • Previous experience as an Operations Manager or Senior Manager within the hospitality industry.
  • A proven track record of managing multiple departments within a hotel or hospitality venue.
  • Experience within a recognised hotel brand would be advantageous.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to maximise revenue and drive business performance.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining operational procedures and service standards.
  • The ability to coach, mentor and develop department heads through effective performance management.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including shifts, weekends and event operations. The role includes a mixture of office hours, early starts from around

7:00am , and occasional late finishes for events, typically between midnight and 2:00am .

  • A proactive, hands-on management style with the confidence to oversee hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading by example.
