We are currently recruiting for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join the team at this fantastic, independently owned group of brasseries & larders serving modern British food with a real focus on seasonal produce from around the UK. As Assistant General Manager, you will assist and support the General Manager in the daily running of the restaurant, ensuring that the highest standards are always maintained.

The Place

Our client is an independently owned rapidly growing company with several restaurants, pantries & stores with a reputation of culinary excellence. You have the opportunity to work in a company voted highly in the top best hospitality places to work by Caterer & a modern British restaurant recently nominated for Catey's restaurant of the year award. The venue itself is located with beautiful river views with an outdoor terrace, accommodating 150 diners per service which increases in summer months. This group is Rosette standard within a beautiful yet casual setting.

The Person

The ideal Restaurant Manager will have the following:

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager in the hospitality industry, at least 1 year in Rosette standard
  • A huge must is that you live within a commutable distance of Hammersmith
  • Reliable, hardworking and passionate
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in high volume, upscale restaurants
  • Can do attitude & team player & leader
  • Fully flexible on day/evening/weekend shifts
  • A true passion for food and have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn
  • Ability to train, lead and guide the front of house
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels
  • Assist in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting
