We are currently looking for an Assistant Sommelier to join a team who are passionate about providing excellent food, outstanding service and an unrivalled guest experience. Our client is focused on the guest journey and we are looking for a passionate sommelier to complete their team and work with the Head Sommelier throughout service for their à la carte menu and their tasting menu with wine pairings.

The Place
Our client is a stunning Michelin star, 4 AA rosette modern fine dining restaurant nestled in the Surrey Hills in Dorking. Having been named the 2019 AA Restaurant of the Year, the restaurant is a real dining destination with a fantastic reputation. With 28 covers over 12 tables they are showcasing the best ingredients in a modern fine dining experience.
The Person
- WSET Level 2 minimum is a must
- Experience as a sommelier, ideally in a fine-dining venue
- The desire and motivation to work in a Michelin/multi rosette fine-dining environment
- Strong wine knowledge and a passion to learn and grow
- Personable and reliable
- Be a great communicator with a dynamic approach who is personable
- Impeccable standards with a passion for delivering outstanding service
- Their own reliable transport to the Dorking area
