CÉ LA VI London is looking for a dynamic and driven Senior Restaurant Manager to lead our flagship dining destination, drive exceptional hospitality standards, and build a high-performing team in a fast-paced, premium environment.
Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience at all times.
- Champion a strong hospitality-led culture, setting the tone through visible leadership and hands-on involvement.
- Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain a diverse team, fostering engagement, accountability, and high performance.
- Drive service excellence by ensuring consistent delivery of brand standards and effective service recovery when required.
- Oversee scheduling, workforce planning, and labour optimisation in line with business needs.
- Collaborate closely with Culinary, Bar, Marketing, and Support teams to ensure operational alignment and commercial success.
- Manage budgets, cost controls, and financial performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
- Ensure full compliance with UK health & safety, food safety, and employment regulations.
- Lead training initiatives and performance reviews, supporting continuous development and succession planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in high-end or luxury restaurant environments.
- Proven track record of leading large teams and creating a strong service-driven culture.
- Exceptional communication, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, KPIs, and operational performance.
- Deep understanding of guest experience, service recovery, and premium hospitality standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
