Assistant Restaurant Manager – CÉ LA VI London

Salary: £45,000 per annum | 45-hour contract | Full-time | On-site

CÉ LA VI London is looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team. Located in Paddington Square, CÉ LA VI brings together elevated Modern Asian dining, world-class views, high-energy hospitality, and lifestyle-led entertainment. We are looking for a confident floor leader who can support the Restaurant Manager and senior management team in delivering a polished, consistent, and memorable guest experience. The successful candidate will be hands‑on, service-focused, commercially aware, and comfortable leading a busy front‑of‑house team in a premium restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day‑to‑day running of the restaurant floor.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the front‑of‑house team during service.
  • Maintain high standards of service, presentation, cleanliness, and guest care.
  • Ensure smooth communication between restaurant, bar, kitchen, reception, and management.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues with confidence.
  • Support opening and closing procedures, briefings, table management, and shift organisation.
  • Assist with training, onboarding, and team development.
  • Drive standards, upselling, guest satisfaction, and overall service consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Supervisor, Floor Manager, or similar role.
  • Background in premium restaurants, luxury hospitality, high‑volume venues, or lifestyle‑led concepts.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and guest relations skills.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, reservations, and team management.
  • Confident, well‑presented, organised, and proactive.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and key business periods.
  • Right to work in the UK.
