Job Summary
- Provide support to the Head of Treasury for all Treasury related activities.
- Responsible for all Treasury related accounting entries/queries.
- Front office support in the execution of FX and money market trades.
- Ensure strong links between Treasury and our internal and external stakeholders.
What will you do
- Ensuring the business has sufficient cash and liquidity to meet short-medium term obligations.
- Accurate reporting and accounting of key Treasury metrics and deliverables.
- Provide insightful analysis to key stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure appropriate levels of authority and controls are in place to avoid instances of fraud.
What we expect of you
- Responsible for daily and monthly cash flow management, ensuring sufficient short-medium term liquidity is in place to meet obligations.
- Understand drivers of cash flow within the business and make meaningful contributions to optimising cash and working capital within the group.
- Ensure month end accounting and treasury reporting for UK management and US Corp is submitted in a timely manner and accurate.
- Analyse and understand FX exposures within the group and build out appropriate models of controls for compliance and reporting.
- Liaise with AR and AP team to understand customer and supplier profile and terms with a view to improving working capital.
- Responsible for the update of the monthly free cashflow pack, a key deliverable for US Corp.
- Provide support to the Treasury Associate to ensure all bank recs are updated and correct.
- Ensure all treasury payments are authorised in a timely manner and improve the overall treasury control and compliance environment working with various relevant stakeholders.
- Manage treasury operations such as daily payment processing, approvals, investments and debt.
- Monitor and manage the treasury and forex inbox, respond to queries from across the business and advice and execute in a timely manner.
- Support the administration of the bank accounts managed within the group including the bank mandate and online administration process.
- Ad-hoc duties as required.
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Part Qualified/Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivots, vlookups and financial modelling.
- Previous Treasury experience required.
- Good team player and project management skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and able to deliver to tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and high attention to detail.
- Strong business partnering skills.
- Solid analytical skills and highly numerate.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to work under own initiative.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines juggling multiple priorities.
