Role Overview

The Finance Business Partner is responsible for the financial integrity and analytical support across the supply side of the UK & International business. You will support the Head of Finance – Services, Supply Chain & PMM to deliver trusted finance business partnering to leadership teams in these areas. The primary focus will be supporting the completion of financial plans, optimizing operational costs, reengineering processes, and driving productivity. You will also assist in establishing Management Information (MI), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and a financial trading model to facilitate decision-making through regular performance reporting. The successful candidate must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, working within an evolving matrix structure, and delivering across an international business.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the Head of Finance in the UK & International to deliver:
  2. Business partnering across Services and Supply Chain
  3. Development of an internal financial trading model, providing appropriate costing units for all products and services to support profitable growth
  4. Creating compelling business cases to enhance capabilities, propositions, products, and services
  5. Partnering with functional and business leaders to improve effectiveness and efficiency in the supply side of the business, building a sustainable and scalable model
  6. Supporting the development of MI & KPIs that influence business direction and results
  7. Contributing to cultural, business process, and systems change programs while supporting real-time business needs
  8. Line management responsibilities including recruitment, training, and motivation of team members
  9. Acting as a role model within the finance team, maintaining a positive and proactive approach under pressure

Knowledge & Experience

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification with 3+ years PQE and 2+ years in a management role
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles applied practically in a business context
  • Experience in senior business partnering, adding strategic and tactical value
  • Excellent commercial acumen, connecting financial and non-financial metrics with business drivers
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
