The Opportunity
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced new business sales consultant to work alongside the Print Services Production team in Aylesbury. Print knowledge is not required; however the individual must have proven sales experience in developing opportunities. We are looking for someone who has the natural ability to open doors, create conversations and sell print solutions to prospective clients in private businesses and public departments.

Key Purpose & Responsibilities:
- To find and develop new name business opportunities for CDS Print Services focussed on CDS’s manufacturing site in Aylesbury. Sales to other services within the portfolio will be of interest.
- Profile existing CDS Print Services key sectors to define a ‘key target’ list and gain new appointments by direct calling
- Work with marketing to develop lead generation activities to gain suspects, appointments and opportunities
- Work with the Management team, review and propose new sales strategies, propositions and sector targets to build new opportunities and successful sales development
- Develop your education and understanding of CDS Print Services capabilities with the priority of Print Production in Aylesbury. Work with the Head of Operations to define opportunities and propositions for digital and print services
- Achieve revenue and contribution targets and build contracts that represents new annuity for CDS.
Location Requirements
- Ideal candidate will live within a 25-mile radius of Aylesbury
- Role is Hybrid but requires the individual to be onsite in Aylesbury working with the team to develop new business
Required Experience
- Previous print new business sales experience is ideal but not essential
- 5-10 years previous experience in a new business sales capacity is essential
- Ability and experience of generating cold leads and cold calling is essential through phone, emails and networking
- Ability to create presentations in PowerPoint or similar to a high standard
- Confident individual who can operate at C-Suite level
- Negotiation experience and training to successfully close deals demonstrating value while retaining high margins
- Self-motivated individual with excellent communication and listening skills with a strong focus of meeting goals
Salary
- Up to £40,000 per annum for the right candidate
- Commission structure with the opportunity of 100% salary uplift
