Are you an experienced and driven After Sales & Service Manager? We need you to lead our service operations within the agricultural machinery sector in Southam. This is a top tier agricultural business selling and servicing new and used agricultural equipment.
You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer support, efficient workshop performance, managing the team and time sheets. You will be the link between customers, engineers, and the wider business—ensuring that service delivery is professional, timely, and commercially effective.
Coming from a service management background, you will be:
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the service department
- Managing the service engineers
- Overseeing the diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Planning and coordinating service schedules, breakdown response, and maintenance contracts
- Monitoring performance metrics, KPIs, and profitability of the service function
- Leading, motivating, and developing a team of engineers and support staff
- Working closely with parts and sales departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Identifying opportunities to grow aftersales revenue, including service packages and upgrades
You will have experience in vehicle service management, assistant manager or aftersales role. Agricultural, plant, or heavy equipment preferred but not essential. A strong leader, you will be able to manage the team hours and ensure they complete time sheets and worksheets in a timely fashion.
You will combine commercial awareness with a focus on profitability and customer service, be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, IT literate with experience using service management systems.
