With greenhouses near Frampton and Kirton, we have your next position as a Seed Planter within a thriving nursery. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who loves plants, works with care and precision, and takes pride in growing healthy stock from the very beginning. They grow bedding plants and vegetables like tomatoes from seed and present them nicely in little trays for sale to retail.
The job of propagator is to operate the propagator machine. This machine gets loaded with specialist growing soils and trays. The machine gently transplants the plugs into bigger pots, gently lifting and replanting the tiny plants. The propagator machine would need setting for the size of the trays as well as the size of the plants. You would be responsible for gently moving and stacking the trays, ensuring the right plants are transplanted, labels are created and attached, and orders are fulfilled on time.

They are a thriving family business with a really low turnover of permanent staff. They offer full-time hours, Mon - Friday 0700 to 1700, with a 12 o'clock finish on a weekend, Overtime payable at T1/4. This position can be either temp - perm or potentially straight permanent, depending on you and your circumstances.
