The Role of Production Line Supervisor:
- Leading, motivating and supporting the production team.
- Managing daily line activities to achieve production targets.
- Delegating tasks effectively and monitoring performance.
- Conducting probation reviews, training and coaching team members.
- Ensuring stock is used correctly and efficiently.
- Championing Health & Safety standards within the department.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
- Supporting the Production Manager and providing cover when required.
What we need from you:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to multitask in a busy production environment.
- Previous experience within food production/manufacturing.
- Experience operating plant machinery.
- Good standard of English and Maths.
