Join a Leading Food Production Team! We are recruiting for a Dispatch Production Operative to join a busy and well-established food manufacturing business in Roche, Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
You will initially work within the dispatch department, supporting the movement of goods and completing production-related paperwork, while also assisting with production duties as required.
Key Responsibilities- Working within the dispatch department preparing orders for distribution
- Completing production paperwork and stock counting
- Assisting with production line duties when required
- Loading products onto the production line
- Packing sealed food products ready for distribution
- Loading racks for defrosting and brining processes
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
- Working efficiently in a chilled environment
- Good level of English, particularly for completing paperwork
- Previous experience in dispatch, stock control or production administration is advantageous
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- Comfortable working in a cold environment
- Own transport is preferred due to the location
- Experience using knives is beneficial and may provide opportunities for future filleting training, although this is not essential
