We are currently recruiting General Flower Nursery Operatives to join a busy and well-established nursery in Woodbridge, IP13.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with plants and being part of a friendly, hardworking team. The role involves a variety of nursery duties, with a primary focus on planting, potting, and caring for flowers and young plants.
Key Responsibilities- Planting flowers, plants, and seedlings.
- Potting and re-potting plants to nursery standards.
- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of growing areas.
- Watering and caring for plants as required.
- Sorting, grading, and preparing plants for dispatch.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the nursery.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Reliable and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous nursery, horticultural, agricultural, or gardening experience.
- Interest in plants, flowers, or horticulture.
- Experience with planting and potting activities.
£12.71 per hour
