We are currently recruiting Crab Packing Operatives to join a busy seafood production facility in Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable individuals looking for ongoing work.
The Role
As a Crab Packing Operative, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Packing crab and ice into trays
- Manual handling of trays and products
- Working in a food production environment
- Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards
- Working in a cold and wet environment
What We're Looking:
- Previous manual work or production experience
- Comfortable working with seafood and the smell of crab
- Able to work in a cold, wet environment
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Reliable with a good work ethic
- Own transport is required due to location
Desirable
- Previous crab picking experience (highly desirable)
- Food production or seafood processing experience
- Basic English communication skills
