We are currently recruiting for an experienced Landscape Operative to join a busy and growing team. This role would suit someone with a strong practical background who enjoys working outdoors and has experience across both soft and hard landscaping.
Key Responsibilities
- Tree and hedge planting
- General soft landscaping and planting duties
- Basic hard landscaping
- Ground preparation and maintenance
- Operating small machinery, including tractors and mini diggers/excavators
- Working as part of a team to complete landscaping projects
- Carrying out general outdoor and practical duties as required
- Working safely in a variety of weather conditions
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, agriculture or a similar practical environment
- Experience with tree and hedge planting
- Some hard landscaping experience
- Good all-round practical and manual skills
- Experience operating machinery such as tractors, mini diggers or excavators
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work well as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence would be advantageous
- Previous experience in farming or other outdoor practical work would also be considered.
