HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Tramping Driver
Location: Redruth area, Cornwall
Pay: £16.71 per hour
Night Rate: £19.21 per hour between 00:00 and 06:00
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Start Time: Approximately 18:00
CDS Labour is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established food distribution business specialising in the transportation of frozen seafood. This is a night-tramping position involving long-distance deliveries in refrigerated vehicles.
The Role
- Long-distance transportation of frozen seafood
- Driving refrigerated Class 1 vehicles
- Night driving with approximate 18:00 start times
- Monday-to-Friday tramping
- Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Completing all relevant paperwork
- Following drivers hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Maintaining professional communication with customers and the transport team
What We're Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Comfortable with night work and sleeping during the day
- Willing to undertake Monday-to-Friday tramping
