Join Our Growing Team! We are currently recruiting for an experienced Nursery Production Supervisor to join a well-established nursery specialising in Trees and Shrubs (Hardy Nursery Stock). This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor who enjoys leading a small team while working outdoors in a rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a small production team while working alongside them.
- Carry out daily nursery tasks including:
- Weeding
- Manual potting
- Pruning
- Training and tying plants
- Maintaining irrigation systems
- Assist with planning daily work schedules.
- Manage stock using the in-house database.
- Take responsibility for the nursery when required.
- Welcome and assist customers when needed.
Skills & Experience
- Knowledge and experience of Trees & Shrubs (Hardy Nursery Stock)
- Previous experience leading or supervising a small team
- Good IT skills and confidence using databases
- PA1 & PA6 certificates are desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills with a good standard of English
- Positive attitude, strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
