Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Saturday work required depending on production volumes. Variable start and finish times based on business needs. Typical start time: 6:00am - 7:00am. Typical finish time: 3:00pm - 5:00pm. Working hours will be communicated by management in advance.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting Fish Processing Operatives to join a busy seafood processing facility in Cornwall (PL26). This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking to work in a fast-paced food production environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Gutting and processing octopus
- Grading seafood products
- Washing and processing scallops
- Packing and boxing fish to meet customer specifications
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Following company health and safety procedures
- Working efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets
- Carrying out general production and processing duties as required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous food production or fish processing experience is desirable but not essential, as full training may be provided
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours
- Able to work Saturdays when required
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
