Job Description HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Tramping Driver
Pay: £16.71 per hour
Night Rate: £19.21 per hour between 00:00 and 06:00
Schedule: Monday to Friday
CDS Labour is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established food distribution business specialising in the transportation of frozen seafood.
\This is a night-tramping position involving long-distance deliveries in refrigerated vehicles.
Long-distance transportation of frozen seafood
Driving refrigerated Class 1 vehicles
Night driving with approximate 18:00 start times
Monday-to-Friday tramping
Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift
Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
Maintaining professional communication with customers and the transport team
\Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous Class 1 driving experience
Comfortable with night work and sleeping during the day
Willing to undertake Monday-to-Friday tramping
Refrigerated transport experience would be helpful but is not essential
\16.71 per hour standard rate
~£19.21 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 06:00
