CDS Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Quarry Driller / Quarry Machine Operative to join a well-established business based in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with a company specialising in professional drilling and blasting services across a wide range of quarrying and construction projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for operating drilling equipment safely and efficiently within a quarry environment, ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate quarry drilling machinery safely and effectively.
- Carry out drilling activities in line with project specifications.
- Follow all quarry health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any defects.
- Work closely with the site team to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Comply with all company policies and site regulations.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- NVQ Level 2 (relevant qualification)
- Quarry Safety Passport
- NPORS Connect qualification
- Previous quarry drilling or quarry machine operating experience
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
