We are seeking an ambitious, compassionate, and experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a brand-new 4/5-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) Children's Home in Nuneaton. As the founding Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for creating a positive culture, building a high-performing team, and delivering outstanding outcomes for children and young people. This role is ideal for an experienced leader who is passionate about improving children's lives and wants to make a lasting impact within a growing and successful organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day management and operation of the children's home.
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards.
- Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement through audits, Regulation 44 and Regulation 45 processes, action plans, and service development.
- Monitor safeguarding concerns, incidents, complaints, and children's outcomes.
- Develop and implement therapeutic, child-centred care plans and programmes.
- Ensure staffing levels, training compliance, and best practice standards are maintained.
- Build effective partnerships with local authorities, social workers, families, commissioners, and external agencies.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
- Promote a culture of safeguarding, inclusion, and excellence throughout the home.

Qualifications:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 or above).
- Minimum 2 years' experience within a residential childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding legislation, and residential childcare standards.
- Passion for achieving outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
