Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Nursery Production Supervisor to join a well-established nursery specialising in the production of Trees and Shrubs (Hardy Nursery Stock) .

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hands-on individual with strong horticultural knowledge and supervisory experience.

The successful candidate will lead a small production team while actively participating in the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, and plant care.

Key Responsibilities Supervise and support a small production team, leading by example in daily nursery operations.

Carry out and oversee routine nursery tasks, including: Weeding Manual potting Pruning Training and tying plants Maintaining and monitoring irrigation systems Plan and coordinate daily production activities to ensure operational efficiency.

Maintain accurate stock records using the company's in-house database.

Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the nursery in the absence of senior management.

Provide a professional and welcoming service to customers and visitors when required.

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures.

Skills & Experience The successful candidate will have: Proven knowledge and experience working with Trees and Shrubs (Hardy Nursery Stock) .

Previous experience supervising or leading a small team.

Good IT skills, with confidence using databases and stock management systems.

PA1 and PA6 certificates are desirable but not essential.

Excellent communication skills with a good standard of spoken and written English.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.

A positive, proactive approach and a strong work ethic.
