CDS Labour are currently looking for an experienced Pump Technician who takes pride in solving problems, delivering quality workmanship, and building strong relationships with customers.

As a Multi-Skilled Pump Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and fault finding of a wide range of pumping equipment across industrial, commercial and domestic environments. No two days are the same in this role; one day you could be commissioning a new booster set in a commercial building, the next diagnosing a fault at a sewage pumping station or carrying out planned maintenance on critical pumping systems.

The Role:

  • Install, service and repair pumping systems and associated equipment
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works
  • Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions on-site
  • Test, inspect and commission equipment to ensure full operational performance
  • Complete electronic job reports accurately and efficiently
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers and colleagues
  • Liaise with suppliers to source parts and equipment when required
  • Participate in the out of hours on call rota
  • Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and workmanship at all times

What we need from you:

  • City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent qualification in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline
  • Minimum 3 years' post-apprenticeship experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
  • Good communication skills
