Pay rate: £35,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week (rota basis). Weekend and Bank Holiday working required. Flexibility to meet business needs.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a busy production team, drive performance, and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Working closely with the Production Manager, you will motivate your team, improve productivity, and ensure customer orders are delivered on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise production operatives
- Plan labour and maximise production efficiency
- Monitor production KPIs and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure Health & Safety, hygiene, and quality standards are maintained
- Train, motivate, and support team members
- Complete production records and quality checks accurately
- Report equipment, production, and quality issues promptly
Essential Requirements
- Previous Team Leader or Supervisor experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Good IT and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible approach to working hours
Desirable
- FMCG or food production experience
- HACCP and Food Hygiene qualifications
- Continuous Improvement experience
